Kimberly Wood, a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal, began working in the title industry while still in high school, helping her father, Julian Wood, who was one of the first freelance paralegals in North Carolina.

In 1997, Kimberly's mother, Cissy Rudd, retired and joined the business, and together they formed First Choice Title Services, Inc. — a family company rooted in a deep tradition of title expertise spanning two generations.

For nearly 30 years, First Choice Title Services has earned the trust of clients through quality title work, responsive communication, and consistent service. Every search is handled with attention to detail to help ensure smooth and successful real estate transactions.

Julian Wood was one of the first freelance paralegals in North Carolina, establishing a standard of excellence in title research that Kimberly carried forward. His early work laid the foundation for what would become First Choice Title Services, Inc.
